Tuesday Time-Out - Reflection
“For you love all things that are and loathe nothing that you have made; for you would not fashion what you hate. How could a thing remain, unless you willed it; or be preserved, had it not been called forth by you? “Wisdom 11:24-25
Through the life and example of St. Martin de Porres and this weekend’s scripture passage, we know that God uses each and everyone of us with our unique background and gifts to spread Jesus’ love and the work of the Gospel. Take some time today to consider your own experiences and path to faith and how God is currently using you.
Question of the Week - Discovering Jesus

Action Item - Sharing Jesus
While it’s often easiest to teach charity, another word for love, by giving of our material blessings to the poor and homeless, consider those who are lacking in time, lacking in health, or lacking in joy. Think about how you can pour God into others’ spirits. Invite your family and friends to think about their neighbors and friends – would anyone benefit from a hot meal or a surprise package on their doorstep? How can you give wonder and joy to someone in the midst of our dark world?
