Summer Opportunities for Teens

Have a Catholic young person in your life who is looking or could be looking for opportunities to grow in faith this summer? Check out the various opportunities around our diocese!

I.     Steubenville Youth Conference (Open to students entering grade 9 – those who have just graduated from High School  (2020 graduates)

National Catholic Conference to bring high-schoolers into a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.  “Lift your eyes to the glory of God.  Be restored.”  www.steubenvilleconferences.com

a)           Mini Pilgrimage to St Paul MN Conference: July 24-26, 2020.  $300/student or chaperone (Scholarships available for mini pilgrimage)

b)           Extended Pilgrimage to St Louis MO Conference: July 15-21, 2020.  $570/students, $470 chaperone

II.     Love Begins Here (Middle School and High School options)

Local mission experiences right here in the Diocese.  Each mission experience aims to serve those most in need in humble, simple ways based off the patroness of the mission experiences, St Teresa of Calcutta.

All registration due by April 30, 2020.  Middle School Trips cost $100.  High School Trips cost $120.  Fees cover materials, night programing, food, supplies for service etc.  If students want to purchase merchandise, they are encouraged to bring money for that.

a)           Middle School 1: St Bernard, Appleton.  June 7-10, 2020

b)           Middle School 2: Tri-Parishes, Antigo.  June 28-July 1, 2020

c)            Middle School 3: St Denis & St Patrick, Shiocton.  July 6-9, 2020

d)           Middle School 4:  Kaukauna Catholic Parishes.  July 12-15

e)           High School: Our Lady of Lourdes, De Pere.  June 21-25, 2020

III.     KREWE

High School Catholic Leadership Training.  Knowledge of Christ; Responsibility to the community; Everything is a gift; Witness through sacrifice; Evangelization to their peers.  Two sessions a year are required for this commitment (June and October)

IV.     Catholic Youth Expedition (C.Y.E.)
