SACRIFICIAL GIVING SUPPORTS THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS OF THE PARISH

Sacrificial Giving is also known as ‘tithing’ and is known to some as ‘church dues’. Nativity does not require that you pay to be a member of our parish family. However, the concept of tithing is biblical and encouraged. This financial response to Christ should be “of the essence” of our faith, not simply the leftovers. We invite you to become an active part of our sacrificial giving program. Review your personal and family financial situation. After prayer and discussion, we encourage you to commit to a percentage of your income to give to charity and in particular, our faith family.

You can give with parish envelopes on the weekends, send your donations to the parish office, or give online. Whatever way you give, the community is grateful!

Wills, Bequests, and Other Gifts

Planned giving helps us plan for the future. Careful financial planning can be beneficial to you and your heirs and allow you to leave an enduring legacy to support our community for future generations.

Bricks for Our Memorial Prayer Garden

Memorials keep the legacy of your loved ones with the parish family.

Memorial bricks to be included in our memorial garden around the bell tower can be engraved for yourself, children, friend, relative, or in the name of a deceased loved one. This order of memorial bricks will be placed in the garden next fall.  Orders are due by June 30th for installation in September. If you have questions, please call Vicki at 499-5156.

PLANNED GIVING, LEAVING A LEGACY

There are many ways you can leave a legacy to sustain the mission of Nativity Catholic Community, while at the same time providing yourself and your family with significant tax benefits.  In addition to outright, tax-deductible cash gifts, there are other creative ways to give, including gifts of appreciated assets. Please contact Vicki or Tricia at the parish office for more information.
